Make an identification with the app, make a screenshot and complete the form found here.
To flash your car simply download the files to a folder on your phone. We have a full guide on the flashing and unlock process here.
The first flash takes anywhere up to 30 minutes to complete the unlock process. After the initial unlock if you need to flash your car again a full flash takes up to 8 minutes and a calibration only flash takes as little as 20 seconds to 2 minutes. The flash time greatly depends on your device. For the first flash we would recommend you set some time aside where you will not need to use the car for a little while.
Internet is required to download the app and the tuned files to flash to your device. But actually using the app does not require any internet or data connection, even for flashing.
During the development of the app there have been literally 1000's of flashes. It has been stress tested in every imaginable way and the conclusions are that the only way to leave yourself with a hard bricked ECU is to flash the wrong software version onto the car that is not an IMMO match. This will then need to be recovered in boot mode which requires the ECU to be opened up. In the unlikely event this happens we are able to recover ECU's in boot mode, please contact us for support.
Should the connection be interrupted during a flash your ECU should be left stuck in what we call CBOOT. You will not be able to start the car and the dash will likely be lit up like a Christmas tree with various worrying looking warnings cycling through the display. However do not panic, simply charge your device and start the flash again, it should complete as normal.
Should the application crash during a flash your ECU should be left stuck in what we call CBOOT. However do not panic, simply restart your device and start the flash again, it should complete as normal.
If the application seems to have frozen during a flash you are likely stuck in CBOOT. Try restarting the flash again if it continues to fail, try flashing the stock file. The flash should complete successfully. If this fails please contact us and we can guide you through a recovery process using a windows laptop.
