VAG 2.5 TFSI - Stage 1 ECU Tune
Our ECU software is designed to enhance and increase the driveability of your car. With optimised power delivery you feel a broad horsepower and torque increase across the rev range. The power outputs differ most in terms of turbo's. A typical power gain for each turbo and stock power rating is listed below:
- EA855 - (340/367HP & 450/465NM) 400-420HP & 600-620NM
- EA855 EVO - (400HP & 480NM ) 470-490HP & 620-650NM
- EA855 EVO OPF - (400HP & 480NM ) 460-480HP & 600-620NM
DSG tuning is mandatory if you are purchasing online please add the DSG tune that suits your model.
Please note the figures above are based on a general basis and figures between each car and dyno may differ. If you are opting for a OTS tune these are the figures you should expect. With data logs and custom tuning we find on some cars that you can actually achieve better results on some dynos.
The 5 cylinder engine has seen some massive changes in hardware that really changed the tuning possibilities. The pinnacle is the DAZA engine which is the EA885 EVO pre-OPF. The earlier engines are massively capable however the turbo's are unable to produce the same power of those fitted to the facelift models. Once the OPF was introduced it adds increased back pressure meaning the turbo has to remain slightly more restricted than in the non-OPF engines.
